Affiliate link forwarding from own Domain

By | June 23, 2012

I am guessing this is easy to do. But thought since I don’t know and not sure where to look and cause of all the newbies on the block, that it would be useful to have this topic flow through.

Can someone be so kind as to explain how to do this.

I have scene links within someone else URL.

For example http://www.yourdomain.com/wealthyaffiliate

Would actually ‘jump’ to the pitch page or merchant site (if you have written own pitch). How do you do this?

Thanks,

Well, if you have written your own material (sales letter, review, or whatever) it would just have to be saved as index.html in a folder.

However, if you’re going to redirect to another’s sales page, you would just include your affiliate link in the meta in the head part of you page:

    meta HTTP-EQUIV=”REFRESH” Content=”0; URL=http://www.YOUR-AFFILAITE-LINK-HERE.com”

insert this meta into your web page, all you need to do is save it as an html file, upload it to your web server, and direct traffic there to make it redirect to the right page.
